When I install hallways I always try to run the floor with the direction of the wall ,
this gives a nice feeling of the space even in the narrow hallways.
On this project floor installer could change the directions of the wood since it is unfinished floor,
this is a great advantage of unfinished floors. Of course we change the direction of flooring when we install
prefinished floors as well but sometimes it can be very challenging and because of the technical reasons impossible.
This hardwood floor is a red oak finished with natural sealer.
